Aris Hines

Facilitator, Global Scholar

Hi, my name is Aris Hines. I like to consider myself an Explorer, Artist, Activist, and a dedicated follower of the statement “Treat yo Self!” I have my A.A in Theatre Arts and my B.S in Theatre Arts, Film, & Women’s Studies. I’ve been doing Community Cultural Development work through theatre since 2015, focusing mostly on Youth & Community Development. Other fun facts about me: I’ve lived in Hawaii; I served in the Americorps and the Peace Corps; I’ve lived in the Philippines; I’ve had a play produced on Broadway; and sometimes I work with MTV. That’s not giving you a lot of detail, so feel free to reach out. Issues I care about include Children in Conflict with the Law; Youth Homelessness; and Access to Education. My superpower is building relationships, and I’m most proud of his relationship with my Friends, Family, Staff, and Students in the Philippines. They have given so much to me and I’m happy that I can call them members of my extended family.
